How to prepare Sim Sim Cookies

 


Ingredients

  1. Equal parts sugar and simsim seeds

Method

  1. Heat together over a low temperature until the sugar liquefies.
  2. Be careful not to let the mixture cook too long, or the cookies will be too brittle
  3. Pour the hot mixture onto a flat, greased surface.
  4. Work quickly to pat or roll the hot mixture into a flat sheet, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Cool until warm to the touch, but not hot. Slice into squares.
  6. Separate the square cookies and remove them to another surface to continue cooling.
