How to prepare Bushera or Ekitiribita (Finger Millet Porridge)

  2. 125 g finger millet flour
  3. 500 ml cold water
  4. 2 litres boiling water
  5. sugar

Method

  1. In a clean bowl, thoroughly mix the finger millet flour with cold water until a uniform brown liquid is obtained.
  2. Pour the mixture into the boiling water and continue to cook, stirring, for about 7 minute
  3. Add sugar to taste if desired and serve either warm or cold.
