Ingredients
- 2 kg ntsimbo ghee
- 3 tsps rock salt
- Fresh water
Ingredients for 4 people
Method
- Gently stir ntsimbo ghee with a pinch of rock salt (from Lake Katwe in western Uganda) melted in a little water.
- Little by little, the diluted ghee will change color from yellow to white.
- Sieve the sauce to remove the remaining of rock salt or clots of ghee
- Add some table salt.
The same sauce made from lower quality ghee is called nunire
